KAYEL is a principal member of the Malaysia-headquartered Kit Loong Tyre Group, a leading regional player in the tyre industry, with 75 years experience in virtually all aspects of the tyre business, encompassing retread raw materials manufacturing, retreading, distribution, retailing, outdoor breakdown services, tyre management contracting and equipment supply, including retreading plant design-and-build turnkey projects. The Group is strategically dedicated to tyre-related businesses only, thus enabling very clear focus on our core strengths.
We have accumulated a wealth of technical, technological, industrial, commercial and operational know-how on all aspects of the tyre business, which has positioned us strongly to serve our customers effectively.

KAYEL specializes in the development and production of retreading raw materials in a 17,300 sq metre, 600 tonne capacity manufacturing facility strategically located in the northern industrial hub of Malaysia. The factory is equipped with modern machines, and is constantly upgraded to stay abreast with technological advancement of industrial processes. The factory employs a workforce of 185 staff, comprising a combination of trained production workers, experienced technicians and professional managers.

KAYEL's product range includes precure tread liners (PTL), cushion gum, repair ropes, camelback and masterbatch, which are essential ingredients for the retreading industry. KAYEL products are renown for quality and consistency, and are exported to more than 30 countries. KAYEL is also a certified contract manufacturer of retread PTL for several major international tyre brands to complement their new tyre offers, a clear testimony of KAYEL's ability to meet the stringent quality standards of international tyre companies.
